Cimtech News

THE NEXT CIMTECH course will be Electronic Content and Document Management Systems on 26-27 March. This is a two-day introduction to the technologies, applications and business benefits and points to consider to ensure successful implementation in your organisation.

It is aimed at business, project and IT managers—indeed anyone who needs a review of the business benefits and management issues posed by ECM, wants a checklist for successful project management, has to make decisions about platform and support. Others who will gain much from the course are records managers and documentation specialists who are engaged in implementing these systems, and suppliers and integrators of ECM systems who need a comprehensive review of ECM systems.

Cimtech’s other spring course is on 20 May and is entitled Electronic content and records management for e-government and e-business. All public sector organizations are planning and implementing an e-business strategy and preparing for electronic content and records management. This annual conference and exhibition focuses on these two core platforms for e-government and e-business.

Both events will be run at our regular venue, the Fielder Centre, Hatfield, Hertfordshire.

NOW IN ITS fourteenth year, the 2003 edition of Cimtech’s Document, content and records management guide is due to be published at the end of this month.
