Kleindienst Solutions launches in the UK

KLEINDIENST Solutions, a leading developer and provider of intelligent scanner/sorter and reader/sorter solutions in Germany, is expanding its business activities to the UK. It used iMExpo 2003 as a launch pad for the company and its products.

“Today, physical documents such as contracts, invoices, forms, and cheques, are increasingly being replaced by captured images and data,” said Peter Vamey, Kleindienst’s Director of International Partner Business. “Kleindienst’s intelligent H-Series Scanner/Sorter systems can scan, read, capture, select, endorse, encode and sort multiple documents and multiple sizes, from A6 to A4, at great speed, and in real time. Our systems incorporate ProSoft, an easy to use software interface to the scanning/sorting process designed to provide easy, intuitive control of all scanning and sorting operations.”

After scanning comes image enhancement. The background is cleaned, lines removed, skew corrected, noise removed and the edge trimmed—using software modules from Kleindienst. Images are thus optimised for automated data extraction, a prerequisite for getting the best interpretaion results, for example, with the universal Incoming Post application FrontCollect, also from Kleindienst Solutions.

For more than twenty-five years Kleindienst has developed, produced and sold Reader/Sorter and Scanner/Sorter solutions, complemented by extensive software and service packages. The company’s international customers include the leading German banks which use Kleindienst solutions to process their payment transactions—evidence of the quality and reliability of the company’s products and its extensive experience in mission-critical, high-volume document imaging.
