Saving time and gaining accuracy at North Warwickshire Borough Council
ELECTRONIC document and records management (EDRM) solutions organisation TOWER Software, has announced a unique integration between its TRIM Context EDRM software and Northgate’s Local Land and Property Gazetteer (LLPG). Completed by TOWER Software’s Professional Services team, the integration provides a crucial link to accurate property information in the LLPG which is in use by many local authorities across the UK.
The new integrated solution is already in use by North Warwickshire Borough Council. Trudi Barnsley, council IT project officer, at the local authority explains, “Around 80 per cent of the documentation within the authority needs to be indexed against a specific property. As part of the overall strategy, the council wanted officers to be able to lookup the property in the LLPG database in order to identify the correct property to file information against, rather than type in an address every time. TOWER Software completed a very detailed integration of its solution to meet the council’s specific needs that now saves around 2½ minutes per document entry. Using TRIM Context has now provided the council with a system which produces consistent, accurate results - fast.”
