Total Systems selects Invu for strategic relationship in Document Management
TOTAL
SYSTEMS plc and Invu have agreed for Total to become an accredited Developer
Partner for Invu's electronic document management and workflow products specifically
into the general insurance sector.
Total's detailed knowledge of the UK insurance marketplace led them to believe that the sector's requirements in respect of document management extend beyond that of a traditional, non-regulated organisation. Managing the strict guidelines set down by the FSA in respect of storage and retrieval of customer information whilst delivering first-class customer service have not traditionally gone hand in hand. The combination of total's wealth of insurance expertise and Invu's market leading products will deliver the efficient ‘paperless office’ that today's insurance industry demands, ensuring that every email and every file is accessible, traceable and securely stored.
Colin Fox, Sales Director at Total commented, "Having undergone a thorough review of the various products available in the market, it became clear that Invu's latest .Net product offers all the functionality and ease of integration to policy administration systems that the industry needs, at a price which is compelling. We have integrated Invu into our Ultima policy administration system simply to prove the overall solution. However, our plan is to supply Invu integrated to the customer's administration solution of choice."
Invu have established relationships in place with key product vendors such as SAP and Sage and recognise the opportunity within vertical markets such as insurance. Jon Halestrap, Director of Sales and Marketing at Invu commented, "We are delighted to be working with Total Systems to bring greater focus to the insurance vertical and to build on our successful implementations to date. The in-depth insurance knowledge of Total's consultants will be a key factor in building our presence in this expanding marketplace."
